When scanned, this intermediary URL redirects to the actual destination. This means you can change the destination later without reprinting the code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block tb-5292-p1 wp-block-paragraph\">With a <strong>static QR code<\/strong>, by contrast, the destination URL is encoded directly in the pattern. If the URL changes, a new code must be created and printed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Typical benefits of dynamic QR codes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You can change the destination at any time, for example for a new promotion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can measure the results, for example how many visitors reach your website via a code.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can manage multiple codes centrally in one place.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block tb-5292-p3 wp-block-paragraph\">A logo in a QR code does not, incidentally, make it a dynamic code \u2014 both static and dynamic codes can be customised. You can also measure results from static codes by adding UTM parameters to the destination URL, for example with the free <a href=\"https:\/\/trackboxx.com\/en\/free-tools\/utm-builder\/\">UTM builder<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Important: a dynamic QR code only works for as long as the provider maintains the intermediary URL. If your account with the provider ends, the code will generally no longer lead to its destination.
