Trackboxx works without cookies! This means that you don´t have to mention Trackboxx in any Consent Banner. So long as you are not using any other program that collects personal data, the Opt-in Option for example, Consent Banner is not required.
The Trackboxx is a quickly understandable tool that makes it easy for you to track what exactly is happening on your website. Even though our motto is "simplicity is king", it is still possible to create more complex analyses with Trackboxx. The software is based on a modern and high-performance solution, which is able to process billions of page views due to our server architecture and our worldwide CDN network.
Trackboxx shows you simply and clearly what is happening on your website. Even complex analysis are no problem.
Our tracking script has been developed and programmed so that it does not affect or slow down your website at any time.
Through our worldwide CDN, we ensure that the tracking script is always delivered quickly and effectively.
Our team will actively develop the Trackboxx further and provide many new and helpful features for you.
Because you don't have to provide an opt-in/out option to proactively track users, there are no tracking gaps like there are with "classic" tools like Google Analytics.
Do you have questions, suggestions or are you interested in a special feature? Then contact us. We will be happy to help you and offer you individual support.
Google Analytics is a service from Google that is used on millions of websites. The service is 100% free of charge for the end user. The reason for this is that Google evaluates and processes the data for its own offers, evaluations etc.
With Trackboxx we offer a GDPR-compliant tracking analysis, which processes and visualizes your visitor statistics without cookies and without storing and processing personal data.
To offer this service, the use of Trackboxx is subject to a fee.
Trackboxx web analysis works 100% without the use of cookies and storage of personal data.
We use the visitor's IP address and some other parameters (not personal data) once and generate a "hash" to "track" the visitor while on the site. This hash is stored for a maximum of 24 hours and then automatically deleted. Therefore a subsequent recognition is impossible.
It is not possible to see a visitor's history, nor is it possible to decrypt an IP from the hash.
Furthermore, we only store the most necessary data such as number of visitors, page views, origin, bounce rate and end device.
Hash & decryption in detail:
We create 2 hash values. One for the visitor and one for the page that is called.
User Hash: Signature Hash + IP + User Agent + SiteID + Current Day
Page hash: Signature Hash + IP + User Agent + SiteID + Hostname + Path + Current Day
The signature hash is renewed every day, which means that the data cannot be decrypted afterwards.
First of all, we would like to mention that this is not legal advice. In case of doubt, every website operator should consult their data protection officer.
One of the great advantages of Trackboxx is that, from our point of view, no separate consent via opt-in (Consent Banner) is required.
We are aware that one or the other privacy expert disagrees and argues that Trackboxx stores and processes the IP address of the visitor.
Here is a brief statement from our data protection officers:
"The storage of personal data does not necessarily require consent. This is also not derived from the TTDSG. The TTDSG addresses cookies and the like in Section 25 TTDSG. Art. 6 GDPR provides the legal basis. Legitimate interest should be applicable to Trackboxx.
The IP address is processed by Trackboxx "only", namely to anonymize it or pseudonymize it for the duration of the hash validity."

The smallest tariff starts at 5,00€ per month and includes up to 25,000-page views which is enough for many websites.
The Basic Rate for 5.00€ per month includes a maximum of one website and a total of 25,000-page views.
For many websites, this tariff will be sufficient.
Let us assume 100 visitors per day and each visitor opens on average 3 subpages. In total this would be 9000-page views.
In the Business Tariff for 14,00€ there are 100,000-page impressions included. On average 3333-page views per day.
If you exceed the maximum number of page views, there will be no extra costs. Please see the following FAQ.
There are no additional costs if you exceed the maximum number of page views. If you exceed the limit in the first month or 2 months in a row, we will contact you to upgrade your account.
If you exceed your maximum pageviews in the free tariff (1000), a corresponding information will be displayed on your dashboard.
Further statistics will no longer be saved and displayed after exceeding the limit.
In all paid models, a corresponding information will also be displayed in your dashboard. Your statistics will still be recorded for 24 hours, so that you can react accordingly.
Basically you have the possibility to either upgrade your subscription or to buy a Pageview package.
The tracking code will be displayed in your dashboard once you have created a website. Copy the code and paste it into the header of your website before the closing .
Detailed documentation will be published in our Helpcenter.
We will also provide plugins to make the integration easier.

In principle you have the option to cancel your paid subscription, but we will still store your traffic data. (max. 6 months)
If you do not want to do so, you will find an option in your user account to delete your entire Trackboxx account including all data.
The entire payment process and sale of individual packages at Trackboxx is handled by the payment provider Paddle. This also means that on your invoice as well as when you pay via PayPal "Paddle.com" is shown as the payee.
At Trackboxx, we use a dynamic bot and spam-bot detection.
This means that all common bots, such as Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc., are not counted.
We also block all bots from SEO tools like Semrush, Sistrix, or Ahrefs, so they are not included in your statistics.
Furthermore, our system recognizes known 'spam sources' and also accesses appropriate external data to ignore such traffic.
This means that the numbers you see in your dashboard are 99% real visitors.
"Why should I spend money on a Webtracking-Tool when Google Analytics is completely free and there are some Open-Source-Solutions Available?" As obvious as this question is, so is the answer: Google Analytics and other Visitor-Trackers use cookies, store and process personal data. The data giant from Silicon Valley uses this data, for example, to optimize the provision of its own services, such as advertising. What is not necessarily tragic per se, however, requires website operators (publishers) to inform their users that Google (or another provider like Piwik / Matomo) collects and evaluates this personal data and provides it directly or indirectly to advertising partners.
According to the GDPR, compliance with which is now strictly followed up by the authorities (there are severe penalties for violations!), website visitors must clearly express their consent if a website uses cookies to track user behavior or processes personal data in any way.
This is usually done via a so-called Consent Banner. This indicates the processing of personal data and ensures the publisher the consent of the user via an Opt-in Button.
Our website visitor tracking tool Trackboxx does not use cookies and is therefore more than just a Google Analytics or Piwik / Matomo alternative. No personal data is stored. In principle, you can do without a Consent Banner - provided, of course, that you do not use any other services that store personal data.
Your website visitors are spared the often annoying Opt-In process and are instead taken immediately and without delay to your online offer. We are sure that this is a clear competitive advantage.
A Cookie - by this is meant an HTTP-Cookie - is a text information. This can be stored in the browser of the respective end device with which an Internet user surfs on a website. For this purpose, this text information is either generated via a JavaScript in the browser or transmitted to the browser by the respective web server.
The aim of the Cookie: If a user visits a website again, the cookie information can be read out directly or sent to the web server via a script. For example, websites identify the website visitor, save logins and secure shopping baskets at online stores.
Some cookies are therefore necessary to ensure the function of a website. This is often referred to as necessary cookies.
However, there are also non-essential cookies. In particular, tracking and advertising cookies: i.e., third-party cookies that, from a purely technical point of view, are not required for the functioning of the website, but are used for retargeting or provided for advertising partners via Google Analytics or affiliate programs, for example.
However, according to Cookie Directive of the EU, necessary cookies may be active without the user's prior consent. However, the activation of non-essential cookies must be regulated via an opt-in procedure.
The ePrivacy Regulation (ePVO), which replaces the ePrivacy Directive and was already fulfilled in Germany by the Telemediengesetz (TMG) and Telekommunikationsgesetz (TKG) is likely to further tighten the GDPR.
