Import data from Google Analytics

Use the Trackboxx importer to transfer historical data from Universal Analytics or Google Analytics 4 directly to your Trackboxx account. You only need access to the relevant Google Analytics account.

This guide explains how to run the import and what to keep in mind.

Quick overview

  1. In your Trackboxx account, go to “Settings” > “Websites” to open the website overview.
  2. Find the relevant website, click the three-dot menu and select “Google Analytics”.
  3. A pop-up will ask you to connect your Google account. Confirm the connection.
  4. Once connected, Trackboxx will load all available properties (projects) from your Google Analytics account. This may take a moment, depending on the number of properties.
  5. Select the relevant website and start the import.

Once your Google account is connected, the available websites will be displayed.

Important

You can import Google Analytics data up to the date on which Trackboxx recorded its first visit. This date is shown in the import window.

You will receive an email when the import is complete.
