Order processing means that an external service provider processes personal data on behalf of processed by a company - e.g. a Web analysis [tracking] tool such as Google Analytics or Trackboxx for the website operator.
As soon as such tools collect data such as IP addresses or user behaviour, a AV contract required according to GDPR. The purpose, scope and technical protective measures are regulated therein.
Important: The responsibility for data protection remains with the website operator - even if the processing is outsourced.
