After things quietened down a little in terms of new updates in the second quarter of 2023, we're going straight into 2024.
Because we have not been idle and a major update for Trackboxx is due in the next few days.
On 24.01.2024 - 11am - the update will be installed
1. a completely redesigned dashboard, including various customisations for the display of data.

In addition to the new design and many smaller adjustments, the following points should be emphasised:
- New element "(Page views per visitor"
- the "Destinations" element is now also displayed in the top modules
- new element "Channels" - the channels summarise all referring sources in 5 large channels - Social, UTM, Search, Direct and Referral. The detailed view is still visible and can be viewed via the "show all" tab
- New navigation - additional areas such as "outbound links, Google Search Console data and the new e-commerce tracking are now accessed separately via the menu in the left sidebar.
- Change of the navigation in the 1st view - The aim was to create the possibility to view and filter all data without having to navigate one level deeper. The detailed views are still possible by clicking on "Details"
2. e-commerce tracking

With e-commerce tracking, we offer a completely new area in Trackboxx.
This gives you the opportunity to monitor and analyse your online shop.
The following data can be displayed with e-commerce:
- Article sales, total and broken down by shopping basket
- Display of the "top days" based on the selected period
- top channels (e.g. Facebook)
- best-selling product
- Overview of sales values for the individual channels / referring sites, countries, UTM sources, browsers and end devices
- Most viewed products
- Entry pages (for later sale)
The new e-commerce tracking therefore already offers a comprehensive analysis of your online shop. All data can of course be filtered.
E-commerce tracking will be further optimised in the coming weeks and months and various functions are also planned. Nevertheless, we are very proud to offer a real game changer in the field of data protection-compliant web analytics with the current version.
E-commerce tracking requires an advanced setup on your website.
We offer corresponding instructions for this in our Help Centre.
For WordPress (WooCommerce) and JTL, the setup works automatically via the corresponding plugin.
Further plugins for Prestashop, Shopware, Magento and other systems will follow.
New prices

A major point of criticism so far has been our price structure, or rather that there were too many packages with too many different options.
E-commerce is now a completely new aspect and we have therefore decided to completely revise the price structure.
Fundamental changes:
- There are now 2 higher-level tariffs, the Basic and the Business tariff
- The e-commerce and Google Search Console features are included in the Business tariff
- the Free tariff will only include a maximum of 1000 page views
- An "agency" tariff is also planned, which will include unlimited users/websites, as well as some other additional features
IMPORTANT! The price changes have no effect on existing contracts and only take effect for new contracts or contract amendments.
So much for the current changes.
The new update is extremely comprehensive. There are sure to be problems here and there in the coming days and weeks.
