Trackboxx works completely without cookies. That means: no annoying consent banners, no opt-in requirement, no data protection headaches. Simply install and get started – 100% GDPR compliant.
Trackboxx shows you exactly where your customers drop out and where they buy. Analyse shopping cart abandonment, track add-to-cart rates, understand your checkout funnel – all GDPR-compliant and without cookie banners. This allows you to optimise your shop with real data instead of gut feeling.
Google Analytics loses 50-70% of your data: ad blockers block it, visitors reject it, the figures are incomplete. Trackboxx is not blocked, does not require opt-in and provides you with 100% real data. Finally, you know what is REALLY happening on your site.
Trackboxx gives you a clear, straightforward view of what is happening on your website. Even more complex analyses are easy to run.
Our tracking script is designed to run without slowing down or affecting your website.
Our global CDN ensures that the tracking script is always delivered quickly and reliably.
Our team is continuously improving Trackboxx and adding useful new features.
Because Trackboxx does not require an opt-in or opt-out for analytics tracking, you avoid the data gaps common with traditional tools such as Google Analytics.

Google Analytics is a Google service used on millions of websites. It is free for users because Google processes and analyses the data for its own products and services.
Trackboxx provides GDPR-compliant web analytics that processes and visualises visitor statistics without cookies and without storing personal data.
Trackboxx is a paid service, which allows us to provide this privacy-focused solution.
Trackboxx provides web analytics without cookies and without storing personal data.
We use the visitor’s IP address once, together with several other parameters, to generate a hash that recognises the visitor during their session. The hash is stored for no more than 24 hours and is then deleted automatically, so the visitor cannot be recognised later.
It is not possible to view a visitor’s history or recover an IP address from the hash.
We store only essential analytics data, such as visitor numbers, page views, traffic sources, bounce rate and device type.
Hashing and decryption explained:
We create two hash values: one for the visitor and one for the page being viewed.
User Hash: Signature Hash + IP + User Agent + SiteID + Current Day
Page hash: Signature Hash + IP + User Agent + SiteID + Hostname + Path + Current Day
The signature hash is renewed daily, ensuring that the data cannot be decrypted retrospectively.
Please note that this is not legal advice. If in doubt, website operators should consult their data protection officer or legal adviser.
One of Trackboxx’s main advantages is that, in our view, it does not require separate opt-in consent through a consent banner.
We recognise that some privacy experts take a different view because Trackboxx temporarily processes a visitor’s IP address.
Here is a brief statement from our data protection team:
"Storing personal data does not always require consent. This requirement does not follow from the TTDSG either: Section 25 TTDSG covers cookies and similar technologies. Article 6 GDPR provides the possible legal bases, and legitimate interests may apply to Trackboxx.
Trackboxx processes the IP address solely to anonymise it, or to pseudonymise it for as long as the hash remains valid."

Our smallest plan starts at €5 per month and includes up to 25,000 page views, which is enough for many websites.
The Basic plan costs €5 per month and includes one website and up to 25,000 page views.
For many websites, this plan will be sufficient.
For example, 100 daily visitors viewing an average of three pages each would generate about 9,000 page views per month.
Business plans include additional features such as ecommerce tracking, Google Search Console integration, up to 10 websites and 10 users.
You will not be charged automatically if you exceed your page-view allowance.
You will not incur automatic additional charges if you exceed your page-view limit.
If you exceed the 1,000-page-view limit on the Free plan, a notification will appear in your dashboard.
Once the limit is reached, additional statistics are no longer stored or displayed.
On paid plans, you will also see a notification in the dashboard. Tracking continues for another 24 hours so you have time to respond.
You can either upgrade your subscription or purchase an additional page-view package.
Once you add a website, the tracking code appears in your dashboard. Copy it and paste it into your website’s header before the closing </head> tag.
You can find detailed instructions in our Help Center.
Official integration plugins are available for platforms including WordPress and JTL.
If you need help, please contact us.
You can cancel a paid subscription and keep your traffic data stored for up to six months.
If you prefer, you can also delete your entire Trackboxx account and all associated data from your user account.
Trackboxx uses Paddle to process payments and sell its plans. As a result, Paddle.com appears as the payee on invoices and PayPal transactions.
Trackboxx uses dynamic bot and spam-bot detection.
Common bots such as Google, Bing and Yahoo are excluded from your statistics.
We also filter bots from SEO tools such as Semrush, Sistrix and Ahrefs.
Our system also identifies known spam sources and uses external data to exclude this traffic.
This means that around 99% of the visits shown in your dashboard come from real users.
“Why pay for a web analytics tool when Google Analytics is free and open-source alternatives exist?” It is a fair question. Google Analytics and many other visitor-tracking tools use cookies and process personal data. Google uses this data to improve its own services, including advertising. Website operators must therefore explain that Google—or another provider such as Piwik or Matomo—collects and analyses personal data and may make it available to advertising partners, directly or indirectly.
Under the GDPR, visitors must give clear consent when a website uses cookies to track behaviour or otherwise processes personal data. Regulators can impose substantial penalties for violations.
This is usually handled through a consent banner that informs visitors about the processing of personal data and asks them to opt in.
Trackboxx does not use cookies and is more than an alternative to Google Analytics, Piwik or Matomo. It does not store personal data. In principle, this means you can operate without an analytics consent banner—provided that no other services on your website store personal data.
Visitors avoid a disruptive opt-in step and can access your website immediately. We see that as a clear competitive advantage.
A cookie—more precisely, an HTTP cookie—is a small piece of text that can be stored in the browser on the device used to visit a website. It may be created by JavaScript in the browser or sent to the browser by the web server.
When someone returns to a website, the cookie can be read in the browser or sent back to the web server. Websites use cookies, for example, to recognise visitors, keep users signed in and preserve shopping baskets.
Some cookies are essential for a website to function and are therefore known as essential cookies.
Other cookies are non-essential. These include tracking and advertising cookies: third-party cookies that are not technically required for the website to work but may be used for retargeting or shared with advertising partners through services such as Google Analytics or affiliate programmes.
Under the EU Cookie Directive, essential cookies may be used without prior consent. Non-essential cookies, however, generally require an opt-in.
The ePrivacy framework supplements data-protection rules governing cookies and similar technologies. Website operators should assess the requirements that apply to their specific setup.
