Create and track QR codes with Trackboxx

Create QR codes for your website in Trackboxx and manage them directly from your project. Add your own logo, change the destination of an existing code later, and use the QR code dashboard to see what happens after someone scans it.

Create a QR code

  1. Open your project and select QR codes. (You can find it in Settings or in the QR code module on the dashboard.)
  2. Click on Add QR code.
  3. Give it a nameso you can identify the code later.
  4. Choose a type and add a description if needed.
  5. Under URL path enter the destination path on your registered website. The full destination URL appears below. For your homepage, enter /.
  6. Optionally, add a logo . The image can be up to 2 MB in size.
  7. Click on Add QR code.

You’ll then find the code in the QR code overview, where you can manage it and change its destination if needed. That’s useful if a QR code you’ve already printed should later point to a new offer page.

Analyse results

In the QR code dashboard you can see how many visitors and page views your QR codes generated during the selected period. You can also review completed goals and the conversion rate. If you use e-commerce tracking, the dashboard shows revenue attributed to QR codes and revenue per visitor. The table below lets you compare individual codes.

Example: Create separate QR codes for flyers, packaging and posters, and give each one a clear name. You’ll see which placements bring visitors and which codes lead to goals or purchases. The analysis is useful even without an online shop if you’ve set up relevant goals in Trackboxx.

Tip: Scan every new QR code yourself before printing to make sure it opens the right page.

Information: You can create up to 30 QR codes. If you need more, please contact us.
